I saw the google reviews for this place and we booked it for my friends baby shower. I was super impressed by how good it was. The lady who had made the cakes was very professional. She asked people with similiar dietary requirements to sit together so it was easy to share the afternoon tea. Then she explained through the sandwiches on each tea platter. Each person was 28 and there was more than enough food so much so we had to take it away. The atmosphere was really lovely. There was 8 of us - long table at the back and there was still room for other tables. It was packed! So definitely recommend booking. The lady who served us said that the cakes were baked fresh (the scones were huge!) and they would keep for atleast 3 days. The sandwiches weren’t amazing but when are they for an afternoon tea. Everyone just goes for the sugar! I would definitely recommend this place

A wonderful quintessential tearoom. Excellent food and service and the salt beef sandwiches to die for. In my view even better than served at the Brass Rail in Selfridges! Great selection of food and drinks. A good sign is that it is nearly always very busy.

Cozy place with a great atmosphere, clean and tidy, you can breathe a little English air in this bar. The bathrooms are clean. Beautiful service plates, colorful and artistic. Staff friendly and always attentive to the needs of the customers. We went on a Tuesday, the food was quite fast. Buononil sandwich and cake, liked the salad as a side dish. In our bill was in the average. I recommend it.

We came as a group of 6 (2 adults, 4 young children) on a busy Thursday in half term. I initially panicked that this was not the place for us, with lovely tea pots and china decorating the cafe. I was proved completely wrong! Staff provided us with loads of toys and colouring to keep the children entertained during a packed lunch service. Their fruit juice came in novelty cups and they were also given children’s cutlery. All of the food being served looked amazing, and portion sizes were generous. My toasted sandwich was delicious and my friend and I have vowed to return for afternoon tea without the children in tow!

What a lovely place! The Drawing Room has such a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is great, and they’re very kid-friendly, which makes it perfect for a relaxed family outing. One of my favourite things is their beautiful tea cups—such a charming touch that makes the whole experience feel special. The cakes are absolutely delicious, and the scones are fresh and just perfect with cream and jam. Definitely one of those hidden gems that you’ll want to come back to. Highly recommend! Rating: 5/5

My 3 year old son and I love visiting The Drawing Room. We enjoy our visit from start to finish - from the giant bear at the door that my son likes to cuddle, to the warm welcome from the staff and then the delicious food, the whole experience is great. The cafe is beautifully decorated, service is excellent and the menu is lovely with lots of classics served with little flourishes such as the salad in a teacup. Highly recommend
